American Idol Judging panel still not confirmed..!

So there have been many reports of who will be on the new American Idol panel this year, with two confirmed already, the final line up was nearly in place with Dr Luke joining, however a major road block means the mega music producer needs to pull out…

So far, locked in to the judge chairs, is last seasons country boy Keith Urban and returning judge Jennifer Lopez, which just makes us sooo happy as we missed her when she left.

News circulated the pop interweb yesterday of Dr Luke, who is responsible for such hits as Kelly Clarkson's Since U Been Gone, Ke$ha's Tik Tok and Katy Perry's California Gurls, completing the panel line up and BOY were we excited..!

However, it has come to light that the producer can not join the panel, due to a conflict of interest between record labels. He currently has a label deal with Sony Music, however under the American Idol agreement he would be developing talent for Universal Music Group, so you can see his dilemma!

An insider has said "He really loves his artists and wants to build up the label," continuing saying "Luke wants to build an entertainment company...after a lot of conversations, both Luke and Sony Music CEO Doug Morris came to the mutual agreement that taking Dr. Luke out of the Idol running was the best thing for all parties."

We reckon Simon Cowell had maybe something to so with it owning SYCO records which is align to Sony Music and also the label behind X-Factor worldwide. Just a hunch.

So once again the search is one for the third judge for the panel ( there will not be 4 again btw) however who could it be?  We still think Justin Timberlake would kill it and also bring massive audience pull, however after winning so big at this years MTV VMA’s its not exactly like he needs the exposure.

So pop fans, who do you think it will be? Here are some of our fav J.Lo moments and thats why we are excited to have her back..!
