Cheryl Cole heads back to the studio...

We are still in shock from the Girls Aloud split earlier this year, however there is a small piece of good news that Cheryl Cole has confirmed that she is heading back in the recording studio…
The Geordie lass will beginning working on the follow up to her last album A Million Lights, that featured the brilliant Call My Name featuring the brilliant Calvin Harris.

The ex-Girls Aloud (SCP sobs) singer hinted she is back in the studio with an Instagram picture (below) showing microphone in a vocal booth with the caption ‘Back with my first true love’

Cole is most probably the most successful (so far*) of the ex-girl group with her first two albums reaching No. 1 in the album charts, and A Million Lights reaching No. 2 last year. This was helped hugely by her appearing as a judge on the X-Factor UK, however news reaches us she maybe crossing to the dark side and replacing Jessie J on the UK version of The Voice.

Until then, check out the singer in action..!

* We so think that Nicola Roberts will come storming back with an amazing follow up album to Cinderella’s Eyes. Just saying!
