New Single Alert - Ed Drewett - Undefeated

Singer-songwriter Ed Drewett first grabbed our attention with his single I Need You Tonight produced by The ThundaCatz and was a collaboration with Professor Green. Then Pete made him a pop pick back in June 2012 with his single Good Morning. Well the Essex boy is back with new pop anthem track Undefeated
The track has an upbeat pop beat with his boyband vocal that is pleasant enough and sings of his struggle in the music industry after going through two major record labels without releasing a second single. Speaking of this time the singer said…

“I’m surprised people don’t think I’m the grim reaper of A&R!” he now jokes. “During my time on the labels I saw 8 A&R guys get fired, and, with each firing comes a new regime and the need to build new relationships. It was making me miserable, and I’m not normally like that. I definitely had a time when I thought ‘is it worth it?’. But throughout it all I had people (like Professor Green for example) give me advice and I always believed it would happen, no matter how low I got”.

As well as releasing his own music Ed has written lots of hits for The Wanted and Olly Murs who wrote Dear Darlin, which is currently number 6 in the singles chart!

Drewett is currently preparing for the release of his debut album later in 2013. Check out his new song below..!
