Pete's Pop Picks..!

Last time it was an all girl affair, however Pete has turned his attention to the boys this week in his Pop Picks..!

Lawson - When She Was Mine

If One Direction is taking the pop Boy Band crown, then we think Lawson want to take the pop/rock Boy Band crown! Like their 1D counterparts, Lawson also hail from England and When She Was Mine is their debut single. Picking up where Rooster left off, these boys know how to pump out a track and are currently working on the video for their singe which is due out May 27th. Great vocals fused with solid instrumentals, When She Was Mine will have the strength to launch these boys into the pop world and it's Pete's Pop Pick of the week..!

Morgan Page - Body Work Feat. Tegan & Sara
Emerging DJ Morgan Page is starting to get a name for himself. He's had some success with his previous singles In The Air and The Longest Road featuring Lissie. For his new single Body Work he's enlisted the help of indie pop darlings Tegan & Sara and this is one awesome track! Echoing the video for Eric Prydz Call On Me we see Tegan & Sara handing out towels in what looks like a prison gym only for the male & female inmates break out in dance - of course! A fun video for a great song, check it out here now..!

Thomas Fiss - Let Go
Formally a member of boy band Varsity Fanclub in 2009 the handsome Thomas Fiss left the group for a solo career and has already worked with some big names like One Republic's Ryan Tedder. He's been working hard on his music since leaving Varsity Fanclub releasing a couple of EP's however it's his new single Let Go that will hopefully get him noticed! Let Go is a solid pop track with smooth verses and a powerful chorus. Check out the lyric video for Let Go here now..!
