Adele sweeps the board at the Grammy's..!

Though the Grammy Awards cast aside their celebratory vibe to pay tribute to Whitney Houston, there was still cause to celebrate the winners of this years awards and the major winner was Brit singer Adele.

Nominated for six awards, the singer won them all including the big three of the evening for song and record of the year for Rolling In The Deep and album of the year for the PHENOMENAL 21.

The singer owned the stage, in her first public appearance since surgery, when she performed Rolling In The Deep infront of her peers from the Staples Centre in Los Angeles. The Someone Like You singer thanked “the doctors who brought my voice back” after the singer had to have surgery on her vocal cords last year and had to cancel many dates in her tour.

Describing her winning album 21 as a record about something “everyone’s been through … which is a rubbish relationship” which became the sound track to last year and one of the biggest selling albums of 2011.

Congratulations Adele. So VERY well deserved.
