Introducing – Graffiti6

Justin Timberlake and Hugh Jackman are examples of two incredibly talented men – seemingly to have it all. They can sing, they can dance, they have looks to die for. They’re the kind of people that men around the world aspire to be like and some are jealous as hell of! Jamie Scott is another one of those talented and incredibly handsome men! Jamie is a singer songwriter and began collaborating with producer TommyD in 2008 to form duo Graffiti6Jamie Scott grew up listening to Curtis MayfieldMarvin Gaye and Cat Stevens and picked up a guitar at the early age of seven and taught himself to play. He was lead singer of Jamie Scott & The Town and has toured with Alicia Keys and Kelly ClarksonTommy Danvers, or TommyD as he’s known, has been a successful London DJ being a resident at the Ministry Of Sound, produced for Jay-ZKanye West and SCP favourite Kylie Minogue! Interestingly, he was also signed to produce a track by then unknown band Right Said Fred – which went on to be the world-wide smash hit single I’m Too Sexy!
This British duo signed to Capitol Records in 2011 and Graffiti6 have been busy making a name for themselves with their songs featured in programs like Greys AnatomyTeen WolfSuits and CSI:NY. They were nominated as an artist to watch by MTV and the New York Post. They released their debut album Colours in 2010 to critical acclaim on their own record label before signing with Colombia Records in 2011 and recently releasing a EP featuring their new single FreeColours will be re-released later this year on Colombia as they’re really starting to get noticed. When you hear their music you will understand why.
There’s not a lot of music out there at the moment that so successfully fuses pop, soul and r&b but Graffiti6 does it. Free is a simply outstanding single – Jamie Scott’s raspy, soulful vocals perfectly suiting this emotion packed song. Building to a crescendo over the first minute of the song, the second verse comes in with a wicked beat and the vocals just get more emotional. Not only do you do you not want the song to end, you don’t want the video to end either – Jamie comes across very nicely on the screen! SCP is hoping we’ll see great things from Graffiti6. We'll be watching! Check out the video for Free below
