Pete's Pop Picks

Marlon Roudette - New Age

Do you remember Big City Life from UK band Mattafix? Well half of Mattafix was Marlon Roudette and in 2010 the band split due to artistic differences. Marlon signed with Universal music and has been busy writing his own style of music which is quite different from the more alternative Mattafix and what an amazing solo debut is his first single New Age. Already reaching number one in  Austria, Germany & Switzerland, New Age is melodic with a beautiful piano riff and will become one of your favourite songs in 2011. Check out to the video of Pete’s Pop Pick of the week, New Age, below.

Selah Sue - Crazy Vibes

 J WilliamsLive it up

If you haven’t yet heard of J Williams, you will soon. Very popular in his homeland of New Zealand the man known to his Mum as Joshua Williams is a very talented R&B/Pop artist who has been churning out this hits in NZ for several years now. You Got Me Featuring Scribe and Take Me Higher Featuring Dane Rumble have been smash hits for him, and now he’s back with an awesome new single, Live It Up. More at home on the dance floor this track is a mix of Usher and David Guetta and hopefully will see J Williams launch into the stratosphere!
