Chart Watch - UK

So there were four stand out entries in the UK charts this week, which we needed to bring to your attention. All with a funky dance edge, we bring you the high risers from the UK singles chart!

David Guetta Feat. Nicki Minaj - Turn Me On
First up, taken from David Guetta's new album Nothing But The Beat, is an awesome track featuring SCP fav alter ego Nicki Minaj. Though no music video is available yet, we think its worth a mention just for not officially being released yet and making the charts due to strong digital sales from the album alone! Bravo!

Cover Drive - Lick Ya Down
We featured Cover Drive a few months back and said they would be big and understandably they are causing a stir in the charts with this upbeat bass-driven dance pop track. Lick You Down is Bajan for 'to knock you down'
Check out the video here

Ed Sheeran - You Need Me, I Don't Need You

You may not have heard of Ed Sheeran before, but mark our word, you will! A cross between folk rock, hip hop pop this is the second track to be taken of the artist debut album +.
This track was written when Ed was just 15 years old, telling Q magazine "Over the course of the last 5 years I've added lines and changed bits around and it's slowly evolved into what it is now. I'm really happy to be able to finally be releasing it as a single." Yep that means he’s only 20! Jeez.
No matter how old it makes SCP feel, it’s a great track Mr Sheeran
Example - Stay Awake
At SCP we are not sure how we missed the release of the video for Example's track Stay Awake, however in celebration of his second number one single and new album due out later this week! Congrats Mr Example, we just need you to visit Australia so we can party with you!
