Pete's Pop Pick's!

Marianas Trench – Haven’t Had Enough

Releasing their first single in 2007, but formed in 2001, Marianas Trench has been around for some time now. Named after the deepest point on earth (in reference to the depth of their lyrics apparently!) this band has broken free from its Rock roots to release a very catchy pop track Haven’t Had Enough. Marianas Trench formed their base with rock, but have become a lot more radio friendly with their new single. With a ripper chorus that has you grooving along, this is my favourite song of the week and a definite for Pete’s Pop Pick of the week!

Marvin Priest Feat. Wynter Gordon – Take Me Away
The son of Maxi, Marvin Priest has already had a SMASH pop hit in 2011 with Own This Club. For his second single he’s enlisted the help of upcoming Pop icon Wynter Gordon and has just released Take Me Away. Wynter’s powerful vocals joins in with Marvin’s digitally altered vocals and a thumping beat that you just know will be another hit in the clubs – well he does own them!!

Mia Martina – Latin Moon
You most likely have heard the big dance smash Stereo Love by Edward Maya & Vika Jigulina on the radio and in the clubs around the world – well everywhere except Canada where it was by Edward Maya  & Mia Martina! Canadian Mia Martina has followed up Stereo Love with her first solo effort Latin Moon. With bewitching delicate vocals and a euro-pop beat, I have no doubt this track will be making its way to airwaves near you soon.
