Katy Perry makes Pop History!

She started off kissing a girl and liking it, said we were Hot N Cold, told us we’re so gay, loved a California Gurl, set off some Firework, had a Teenage Dream, recreated E.T and couldn’t remember what she did last Friday night and now she has made a bit of history!

Yes, as we reported a few weeks back, the Smurfette has achieved an accolade that has only ever been achieved by Micheal Jackson (Bad album) by  scoring five number one hits off her latest album Teenage Dream.

Speaking on Billboard.com, the singer speaks out this historic pop moment saying
"Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen. Ever since I was 9 years old, singing into my hairbrush, I've dreamed very big dreams, but today is bigger than my dreams. What a nice first birthday present for 'Teenage Dream'!"

Congratulations Mrs Brand.
Well deserved and welcome to the pop world hall of fame!

And as its Friday, who better to kick start our weekend than Katy!
